Uh oh!

Today we had an unfortunate event occur. I ran upstairs to put Marley to sleep and somehow did not see that there was a small bottle of blue paint sitting on the table from yesterdays attempt at painting the letter J for Jake's room. Normally if I run upstairs or go to the bathroom I do a quick scan to see what the kids might get into but today.... I didn't. Hard to be mad at such an adorable smile but that last picture is him on time out. Ellie was on time out as well but I didn't get any pictures of her covered in blue because she tried to hide the evidence and when I came down I just found her sitting there naked. Thankfully the paint came off the table, chairs, tile, kids, and even the rug, after much elbow grease, but the kids clothes are still soaking in oxyclean and the last time I checked the paint had not budged. Oh well. No one was hurt and we even managed to go to target and even make cupcakes before nap time. All in all, an eventful day!
